We are Carla & David Wilson, the owners of Wilson Media Services. We have spent more than half our lives enjoying music, sound and audio. Both musicians, we met while attending Lebanon Valley College where we studied Sound Recording Technology (now Music Recording Technology). LVC offered us a rigorous program taking both Music Methods courses, as well as studying Physics and Electronics.
Our interest in audio and sound continued even though we both pursued careers in other industries – David was in Banking & Information Technology (IT) and Carla was in Sales & Marketing and Real Estate. The year 2010 brought us back to our audio and digital media passions with the launch of Wilson Media Services.
David also teaches private music lessons in guitar, bass and piano, and sings & plays keyboards in two Chester County bands: The New Locals and Flat Stanley.
Carla is also owner of WilsonVA, that provides a team of virtual professionals who support entrepreneurs and small businesses. She co-hosts the Online Biz Insiders podcast with her colleague, Mary Motz.
We live in beautiful Chester County, Pennsylvania, the western suburbs of Philadelphia, with our son, Ben, and 4 cats.
